The Rubicon Endurance Saddle


We are pleased to introduce the new improved Rubicon. With a new innovative saddle tree featuring a more open pommel and swept back tree points, it gives a whole new freedom to the movement of the horse, eliminating restrictions in the shoulder area. The Rubicon features two sets of hook bars giving the rider a choice of forward position or a centered riding position, enabling the rider to achieve their perfect leg and riding position. Our hook bars are hinged relieving any pressure on the horse that is a common problem in this area were the stirrup leathers are attached. Our hook bars are made of high quality stainless steel and crafted to be unobtrusive to the riders thigh which is another common problem associated with long distance riding. English wool serge lined panels stuffed with the finest 100% English lamb's wool assure you of the ultimate in comfort for your horses back.

This model also features our unique billeting system offering the rider the flexibility to move the front billets; this coupled with the rear billet attached to a balancing ring to gives you a perfect girth line. This model also features our quick change system from short billets to Long dressage style billets.

The Rubicon is available in our X-grip water buffalo with contracting water buffalo new buck seat and knee pads. Each saddle is finished to our exacting standards with a host of features for the discerning rider. Premium grade British stainless steel 'D' rings and fittings for attaching a breastplate, crupper or personal equipment as needed.

Available with short or long interchangeable billets.
